EXAMPLE: Arepa (carb) + Chicken (protein) + Healthy fat (avocado). I tell you once and for all: snacks are optional, breakfast is NOT. Breakfast is very important and super necessary! It is a habit that is created! Many have asked me about the arepa recipe, here is a tasty one. OATS AND LINSEED AREPITAS For 4 portions. Ingredients: 1 cup of water 1 ¼ cup rolled oats ½ cup of cornmeal 2 tsp flaxseed Salt to taste. Preparation: Mix the cornmeal with the oatmeal and flaxseed. Add a pinch of salt to the water and stir. Gradually add the mixture of flour and oats, as you stir. When it takes consistency, knead the preparation so that the ingredients mix well.
